01. WHO WE ARE
We are Haitian refugees who left the country in 2010 after the devasting earthquake and arrived in Tijuana seeking refugee status in the U.S. after travelling through Brazil and other South American countires.
Out of some 30,000 with same purpose, approximately 5,000 of us decided (or could ) not to cross to the US and instead made Baja as new home and Mexico as adopted country, 3,500 in Tijuana and 1,500 in Mexicali as of May 2017.

02. WHAT
For many of us staying in Tijuana, we have to make living working on whatever job we can land on or engaging in small business. And continuing to worship God from whereever we are is an integral part of our life and our priority.
We started a Haitian church with few Haitians at first in 2016 and reached Sunday attendance of 150 as of February 2018. We expect the congregation to continue to grow to 250 by the end of year.

05. WHY
Our desire to praise God has not diminished at all and on the contrary we continue to worship our Lord from the alter we find out of desperation, human basic needs and most correctly because God called us to this place in this manner.

We don't have an ordained pastor yet and lay leader Amos Alexandre is leading the service and congregation for now. He is our Pastor and preacher however in evey sense. For Pastor Amos, this is his 3rd church he planted and leading after leaving Haiti. The other 2 were in Brazil in 2015 and Ecuador, 2009.
